Poured from a 16 oz can. Aroma is hop forward with lots of gooseberry, guava, passion fruit and tropical citrus with quite a bit of grapefruit and lighter notes of dank, oily resin. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a clear, brilliant, gold color with a medium large, moderately thick, fluffy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers for a bit on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Moderately high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong berry, gooseberry and grapefruit notes. Lighter notes of passion fruit, tropical citrus and dank, oily resin. Slightly dry finish with lingering dank notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid IPA. West Coast malt profile with a moderately assertive bitterness. Tons of hop aroma and flavor but without being overly juicy and sweet.
