Poured from a 510 ml bottle. Aroma is really nice and full of fermentation esters and phenolics. Fairly fruity with lots of cherry pie and notes of stone fruit. Hints of earthy phenolics and must with light notes of oak, alcohol and malt. Pours a copper red color with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, slightly tan head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers on the edges. Hints of lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with faint acidity. Light grain notes and malt character. Medium low bitterness and light alcohol notes. Hints of oak. Moderate notes of tart cherry pie with lighter notes of stone fruit. Hints of earthy phenolics and mustiness. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid beer. Really great fermentation characteristics showing nice fruitiness and background earthy, mustiness. Another nice cuvee from RR for it's club members. I wonder if anybody these will see wider access.
