Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 15, 2022. Aroma is hop forward with nice citrus grapefruit and orange notes and lighter notes of passion fruit and stone fruit. Light dank, oily, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a somewhat clear, dull, golden color with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to clumps that longer on the edges. Medium light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong grapefruit and orange notes with hints of stone fruit. Medium light dank, oily resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really nice IPA. I can see why this was such an iconic beer when first created as Dust. Nice, bright citrus hop notes. Lighter malt profile and solid bitterness.
