This lightly hazy pale ale showcases Strata, a new hop variety out of Oregon. All hops are exciting to us, but hops that can stand on their own are the most intriguing. Strata is such a hop, with aromas of lemon and black lime as well as hints of strawberry, melon, coriander, spearmint, and Kush.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated July 11, 2022. Aroma is hop forward with grapefruit, berry, passion fruit and dank, oily, resin notes. Hints of pine. Light cracker malt notes with hints of alcohol. Pours a hazy, pale, dull, golden-yellow straw color with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Medium bitterness and hints of alcohol. Moderate hop notes of berries, passion fruit and grapefruit with lighter dank, oily, resin notes and hints of pine. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale. It has the hazy malt profile with a danker, oilier hop profile and a bit more bitterness.
