Poured from a 510 ml bottle. Aroma is fairly fruity with lots of cassis, berry and cherry notes. Light malt notes of toasted bread, caramel and hints of nuts. Light notes of barrel and hints of alcohol. Pours a dark brown color with lighter brown and auburn hues on the edges with a medium large, thick, pillowy, light tan head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Flavor has a light acidity with light sweetness and medium light malt notes of toasted bread and caramel. Light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong notes of raisin, prune, cassis, and cherry notes. Light oak and red wine tannins. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a pretty nice dark sour. It's not too acidic and it has really nice barrel notes. Fermentation created some really nice fruity notes.
