Our hop loving buds over in Reno at Revision Brewing Co. wanted to create a beer loaded with that just-restocked ganja dispensary aroma. To imitate those tangy and dank aromas we brewed this Hazy DIPA and loaded it up with Simcoe and Sabro Cryo, Enigma and Chinook. But what does ice cream have to do with any of this? Well Gelato 33 just happens to be a hard hitting weed strain bred right here in San Francisco!

Poured from a 16 oz can dated September 13, 2021. Aroma is very hop forward and a bit fruity with a large, dank, resin note. Lots of grapefruit, orange and oily resin. Lighter notes of coconut, pine and passion fruit. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes. Pours a hazy, dull, golden-orange with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Lots of oily hop notes. Tons of orange, grapefruit, resin and lighter coconut, passion fruit and pine notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid DIPA. Lots of fruity hop notes balanced with a bunch of oily, dank, resin notes. Light malt profile with solid bitterness.
