Poured from a 16 oz can with an indecipherable date - June something, 2021. Aroma is hop forward and fruity with lots.of orange, tangerine, grapefruit, tropical citrus, mango, passion fruit and guava. Hints of stone fruit and dank, resin notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a clear, brilliant gold color with a medium large, thick, pillowy white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes with tangerine, tropical citrus, grapefruit and lighter notes.of passion fruit, mango, and dank resin notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. Lots of hop character with balanced bitterness, malt notes and alcohol. The hop profile could be a bit more dominant in the flavor to match the aroma.
