Poured from a 16 oz can dated April 6, 2021. Aroma is fairly oat forward with lighter chocolate and roast notes. Faint woody hop notes and light alcohol notes. Pours black with dark brown hues on the edges and a large, thick, mocha head that recedes slowly to a small, thin film that lingers on the edges. Faint lacing and small legs. Flavor is fairly sweet with moderate note did oats and a big lighter bitter chocolate and roast notes. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Light woody hop note. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Medium low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, an okay oatmeal stout but not a great one. Decent oatmeal notes, but the body is lacking and it's a bit bitter and astringent. The mouthfeel is just absolutely completely lacking; there is no creaminess at all.
