Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 14, 2020. Aroma is moderately hop forward with notes of passion fruit, mango, guava, melon and citrus. Medium light cracker malt notes with hints of caramel and alcohol. Pours a somewhat clear, brilliant gold with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes somewhat quickly to small, thin clumps on the edges. Light lacing and small legs. Flavor is slightly sweet with medium light cracker malt notes and hints of caramel. Moderately strong bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderate notes of grapefruit and orange with lighter notes of passion fruit, mango and melon. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid IPA but the hops are not nearly as prevalent as I would prefer, especially with regard to the flavor. It's well balanced but the hops aren't really given an opportunity to shine.
