Poured from a 16 oz can dated August 20, 2020. Aroma is hop forward with tropical fruit, orange, grapefruit, tropical citrus, passion fruit, and lighter berry and grape notes. Light cracker malt notes and hints of alcohol. Pours a rather clear, brilliant gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy white head that recedes to a small film that lingers on the edges. Light lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly strong bitterness with a bit of a hop bite. Light alcohol notes. Moderate notes of tropical citrus, orange and grapefruit with lighter notes of passion fruit, berry and grape with a dank, resin finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a decent IPA. Nice hop aromas but the flavor has a bit of a bite to it that overwhelms the softer, fruity notes. Balanced malt notes.
