500 ml bottle sampled in 2011. Hazy orange body with a small, dense beige head. Slightly acidic aroma with caramel malt. Flavor is caramel malt, toast and signs of infection. Not totally unpleasant but this will probably turn bad in a short time. Promising, but not right.

500ml bottle shared by Rune@Summertime Beer Session 5.Jul.2011 Hazy amber body with frothy head. The smell make you think of overripe orange, solvent, compost and rotten eggs. Tastes like mouldy orange juice with a dash of vinegar in it. Sour and astringent. Drain pour!

Bottle An almost clear one, dark golden, spakling, and topped by a dense, off-white head. The aroma is slightly roasted and nutty, a touch of pepper chimes in, but most of all it’s sourish, in a pleasant, bretty way I’m certain isn’t intended. Later tastings reveal it’s gone even more sour, then in an unpleasant way. The flavor is lightly sourish and milky, in a quite pleasant way, but it’s not much of a brown ale flavor. Medium body, quite dry, and pleasantly carbonated. Milky and lemony finish with a touch of roasted malts and nuts. Anyway, it was a quite pleasant experience at this time, it certainly wasn’t later on. 110916

Bottle. brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is sournes, caramel. Flavour is sour, caramel, fruit, vinegar. something is wrong.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, Ulfborg 2011. Hazy amber/brown color with a nice brown head. Sweet malty aroma and taste with fruit and caramel notes. Light bodied.

Can. Hazy amber colour with an off white head. Fruity, malty and a bit sour nose. Light toffe and light fruity flavour.

Flaske 0,5l. Denne er vanskelig. Har drukket den ved flere anledninger - første gang på Ølhallen 31 Mai 11. Fikk da mistanke om infeksjon og ville gi den en ny sjanse. Noen uker senere: En i heimen. Infeksjonen mer tydelig. Ytterligere en (denne gang til mat), men den var på linje med den forrige. 30 Jun var Rune og undertegnede på Ølhallen for å få stadfestet elendigheta - men da var det ingen tegn til infeksjon? To batcher? Neppe. Dårlig flaskerengjøring i en periode? Nok om det. Ølet var i alle fall “i ratebar stand”. Dyp rødbrun på farge. Litt uklar. Flott luftig skum. Forsiktig aroma av malt. Smaken litt tørr & maltig med innslag av frukt. Bra - men anonym.

Bottle 500ml. @ The Danish Summer Gathering, TFODRBSG11.Unclear hazy matt medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average duration, caramel notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110820]

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a huge yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons and straw. The flavor is sweet and acidic with notes of lemons, leading to a dry and somewhat tart finish.
