Cask at Pow, Farnborough. Not much aroma, some floral hints. Light gold. Some white bubbles clinging to the rim. Light bitter. The bite has a floral edge to it. Light bodied. Thin. Average carbonation. Short finish. OK. A boring gold with some interest added by the elderflower.

Pours a clear straw gold colour with small lasting fine white head. A light grainy sourdough bread and Elderflower aroma. A light sweet malt taste, the Elderflower comes through and with a nice light dry bitterness in the finish.

On cask @ Monty’s (formerly Carters, Carter’s Tap and likely to be something else by Christmas). Appearance - golden with a light haze. Nice lacy head. Nose - elderflower definitely prominent. Some citrus and generally herbaceous notes. Taste - citrus up front, then big elderflower through the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied. Creamy middle section. Long dry finish. Overall - good, but can’t imagine drinking this all night. Might turn into an elderflower or whatever the plant is called. It suited being on cask.

Cask @ Sheffield Tap, Sheffield [030916]
Straw colour, clear, frothy white head, good lacing
Aroma of elderflower, light pale malt, soft spicy herebal, quite like Cairngorm Trade Winds
Taste of light pale sweet malts, elderflower, bit spicy, elderflower is a bit too intense
Palate - Medium thin body, little oily. Finish is lots of elderflower
Overall - OK, but too floral for me

Gravity cask at the Land Rover Beer Festival 2016. Poured a light straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is yeast, grassy nettle hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big yeast, grassy hop, light pepper spice, citrus palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at the Flying Pig, Cambridge. Golden, clear, a bit of white head and lots of lacing. Light elderflower, grass, melted butter. Sweet and slightly floral taste with a slightly more bitter and medicinal finish. More elderflower in the aftertaste. Not great I am afraid.
