Cask at the Prince Arthur (JDW), Fleet. Pale amber with a loose soapy-looking white head; elderflower aroma with a hint of citrus; soft and chalky in the mouth with a light floral taste; then softly bitter with some hedgerow fruit to finish. Light and refreshing, and a change from citrusy summer ales.

Cask @ The Three Fishes, Shrewsbury. Pours clear gold, minimal white head. Grassy hop aroma. Taste is a standard smooth blonde, no detectable elderflower unfortunately but a nice floral noble hop character.

Cask at CBC Brighton. Clear golden color, steady small white head. Hayish and fruity aroma. Light-bodied. Citrus fruityness in the flavor. Herbal notes from elderflower are not so evident. Ok but not exciting beer.

Cask @ Leggers Beer Festival, Dewsbury. Golden with a small head. Lots of hop and malt but there’s a mild fruitiness with the elderflower more prominent in its lingering aftertaste.

Cask at craft clerko. Golden colour with a lasting loose white head. Aroma is nice fresh earthy heather, straw and berry hop. Flavour is earthy, straw, English yeast esters with a hint of cara sweetness. Palate is medium light, moderate carbonation. Firm slightly rough bitterness. Good stuff.

Light gold, thin head. Aroma is elderflower, tangerine and honey. Heavily floral, slightly sticky, tasty twist on a summer ale.

Cask at the Claret, Addiscombe. It pours clear golden yellow with a medium white head. The nose is sweet doughy, floral, grass, spice and toast. The taste is crisp, bitter, elderflower, grass, earth, dough and touch of pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp and quaffable. A rather nice session ale.
