Cask at GBBF 2011. A golden/orange coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, malty, fruity aroma. Tastes hoppy, malty, quite sweet, tropical fruit and citrus fruit. Really easy to drink and damned tasty too.

Bottle via a trade with jbye4334. Pours with a small white head fading over an orange body. Aroma is orange, caramel and grain. Taste is hops, citrusy, some caramel and a bit faded. Medium carbonation.

12 oz bottle from Liquor Mart in Colorado, bottled in June 2005, remained on shelf from then until purchase in late September. Refrigerated from the beginning of October until consumption on 1/31/2006. The fill line was at the very bottom of the neck. I do not remember if this was the case when I bought it (most likely).
With such a poor fill and an aging period of 7 months, I was expecting the worst. To my great surprise the beer poured with a very large amount of head that even laced quite well. A light eggshell-beige color, atop a chill-hazed deep copper with light auburn tinges. Head retention is moderate, and probably even better had this been fresh. The nose is rather soft and mossy. Damp, leafy hops, soily and light bits of minerals and old oranges. But though it is not strong, it is a lasting aroma with substance to it. The malt is lightly peachy-sweet, with honey and some munich-like sourness. The flavor boasts of a very rounded, soft, citrus and floral hoppiness, with definite light peach and apricot notes. Plenty of sugary malt, light caramel and more of the munich sourness, more pronounced in flavor than aroma, comes out on the finish. Low carbonation, pushing watery, but not overly so. Very drinkable, medium bodied. Lack of lively, poignant hoppiness is the biggest problem here, but the flavors seem on for what it is. No doubt the fresh draught version must be a knockout.

[At GABF 2004] A hazy orange beer with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy and hoppy, while the flavor contains lots of hop oils, with a dry grassy end.
