Quite hazy golden, orange and peach coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall tan head that fades a bit quickly. Aroma of robust citrus fruits with a lot of tropical fruit notes, a little dose of perfume and some solid malt and fructose notes here make this deep and robust. Medium-bodied; Strong fruity flavours at first that show some oranges and grapefruits with a light hit of tropical fruit notes and all balanced with some strong malt notes, a little yeast and some bready flavours at the end. Aftertaste shows the citrus twang with a lot of perceived bitterness from all the hops and alpha acid notes that come through at the end. Overall, a nice and rich beer with a good malt backbone, but tons of fruity and juicy hops which sort of overpower the malts. A good option, if you can find it and you like juicier and slightly hazier IPAs that still have the right balance throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce can, given to me by the GM at the brewery, after a hockey game in Arlington, Virginia in October 2019 - Thanks Erik!
