Cask gravity at Kent BF 2013. Gold thick white head. Nettle hoppy. Really quite hoppy some bitterness on the finish. Quite arresting and I wasn’t keen to start with but it grew on me.

Lovely perfume and fruity hop aroma. Taste threatens to overwhelm but doesn’t, leading to a balanced finish. An honest golden beer, full-flavoured yet reserved.

Cask at The Fountain, Walsall. Poured a clear golden brown with a big white frothy head. The aroma is weak malt. The flavour is medium bitter malty with a rather smooth palate. Given its alcohol content it’s a perfect session beer.
