Introducing our very special 12th Anniversary beer. Inspired by the flavors of Japan, and the travels of our fearless leader @adairp "12" is a barrel-aged Saison featuring Yuzu and Honey. Citrus driven, but with a rounder body from the honey, we're pleased to offer this to you, our cherished friends and supporters! Your support over these last 12 years has been monumental. We simply would not be here without you!

Poured from a 750 ml bottle.
Aroma is citrus forward with notes of yuzu and lemon. Medium light honey notes and hints of grain. Light alcohol notes. Faint herbal, earthy phenolics and light floral notes. Faint oak.
Pours a hazy orange color with a medium large, thick, frothy, white head that recedes steadily to the edges where it lingers. No lacing and small legs.
Flavor is slightly acidic with light sweetness and grain notes. Medium light bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately strong yuzu notes adding a touch of acidity. Lighter honey notes with some citrus blossom notes. Faint herbal phenolic notes and a touch of oak..
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid citrus saison. SARA did a great job making sure the acidity from the citrus did not overpower the beer. No e honey notes that show through in both the aroma and flavor. SARA funk works nicely with the yuzu and honey.

Bottle. Pours hazy peach, small off white head, good lacing. Aroma is bugs, peach, lemon, stonefruit. Flavor is light tart, medium funk. Medium body.

Bottle thanks to Russell. Pours a cloudy orange gold with medium white head that lasts. The aroma is strong honey, citrus, floral, oak. Slick body, honey, yeast, lemon balm, oak, nice tartness, enjoyed this.
