Cask, hand pulled, one-third pint at GBBF ’11, Earls Court. Clear golden, missing head. Resin-like hops and fresh floral hops to the nose. Taste of resin and grainy malt, half-sweet. Smooth, dry bitter finish. Moderate start to the first day at the festival (London, 02.08.2011).

Cask@The New Wheatsheaf, London. Golden colour, small white foamy head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some cellary and caramelly notes as well. Flavour is fruity, floral and rather bready. Pleasantly balanced, but nothing really special.

Cask, handpump at The Hop Pole, Aylesbury, Bucks 18.07.11 Pours golden with slim white head and good clarity. A medium bitterness gains in intensity to be quite a decent bitterness as this slips down. Some initial sweetness get’s taken over by a lemony pithiness and nice punchy citrus flavours. It’s a nice beer, served just a tad on the warm side. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
