Not one of those rip your taste buds out ginger beers, this is best described as gently ginger.

Brewed with fresh root ginger and normally available throughout the summer months.

Guest Cask at the Evening Star, Brighton, East Sussex, UK on 23rd May 2009. A delicately spiced amber ale brewed with fresh root ginger. The ginger notes are not overpowering, as notes of aniseed and just a hint of lemongrass enter the palate on a smooth quasi-saline mouthfeel. The lemongrass note is most noticeable in the delicate, blended fruit aroma. Although for many, such a beer would be an acquired taste, I found the taste quite easy to acquire, and I’d seek it out again on a session where I’m being adventurous.
