Hazy, this has a little earthy, toasty character that has quite a bit of rye. That part I like but it’s a bit yeasty.

Draught at Darby’s Gastown, Vancouver
Hazy dark amber color, creamy head. When you manage to punch so much rye character in a beer, you are doing something good; bready and grainy, with that nice earthy character of good Bitters.
Very good, original, very well made.

On tap at Darby's Gastown, pours a hazy chestnut brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings lots of bready malt, toasted caramel, and a touch of earthiness. Flavour brings out earthy notes, bready malt and toasted caramel. It's a bit jumbled. Nothing very special, but it's pretty solid. Decent.
