Roast and gingerbread. I was annoyed when I got this as I didn't realize it was a gingerbread stout. But they actually manage this fairly well. Black pour without much head. Some caramel, coffee. Bittersweet finish with a little ginger tang. Still, wouldn't drink a lot of this. Tap at Pizza Paradise.

16oz can pours a cola brown with just a little ecru head. Nose has a lot of spice and ginger, maple and birch, cream soda. Flavor has dried malts, ginger and nutmeg, cream soda, maple here. Finishes a bit watery though. 7 3 7 3 13

16oz can at the late December DC RB Tasting. Poured a nearly pitch black color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some roasted malts, gingerbread. Flavor was some light shaved ginger, chocolate, roasted notes.

From a 16 oz can shared at the RB Dec 30, 2018, gathering. It is a dark brown cola color with a tan head hea. The aroma is are of ginger and molassss the taste is strange with strong ginger and some hints of cinnamon with a bitter finish

Full pour on draft at Black Flag. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of ginger, spice, dark chocolate. Tastes of ginger, dark chocolate, spice. Medium body with a dry finish. Not quite GBS but close, pretty tasty.
