The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

Bottle. Poured clear bronze with white head. Grainy aroma with some citrus. Hoppy taste with a bit of pine. Hoppy finish. I found no maltiness in this.

Bottle from cbkschubert, Thanks Craig! Nose of floral hops; light copper with a small white head; flavor of medium hop bitterness with some pininess, the bitterness lasting into the finish. Good underrated IPA!

12oz bottle pours out a dark gold topped with a nice white head. A great aroma and tast of hops. pretty good for a IPA from Alaska. O ya what is up with the surfer on the bottle???

Bottle: Pours a clear golden color with orange hues. A large white head lasts a while and some sticky lacing. The aroma is very solid; a blend of citrus, floral, and piney hops. Taste is a bit lacking. The hop intensity is rather moderate, some malty sweetness and a twinge of lager. It tastes more like a half-n-half of IPA and pale lager. The taste simply doesnβt follow the nose.

This beer is for those who want to pretend they are drinking IPA.There is nothing wrong with this beer, a transition beer to be sure, but the lack of hops disqualifies it from being an IPA
