The very intense, complex aromatic character with a refreshing, crisp finish is achieved by dry hopping. The fruity, citrusy aroma is a nice complement with grilled prawns and spicy foods.

2012-08-05, bottle from QFC - Seattle (Ballard), 6-3-6-3-12=30
Hazy light amber color. Aroma of refined cane sugar, light puke. Easy flavor, some caramel, dry mouthfeel, light paper feeling, correct bitterness.
Boring.
2008-09-07, draught at the Yardhouse, Las Vegas, 6-3-6-3-12=30
Deep blond color. Light hop aroma. Some caramel flavor with light sweetness, some hopping. Unoffensive.

Draught @ WABF 2008. Pours a clear golden color with a small white head. Has a light malty aroma with some citrus hoppy hints. Sweet malty hoppy flavor with citrus hints. Has a malty hoppy finish with a long hoppy aftertaste.

From tap at Stone Bistro. Pours golden yellow with a white head. Peachy and grapefruity hops aroma. Smooth and crisp hops flavour of the same. This keeps lingering into a lovely fruity hops finish. Very smooth flavourwise!

Sample in the Alaskan tap room. This beer is a decidedly clear yellow color with a medium and foamy ivory head that burns away slowly. Patchy lacing on the glass. Fresh resiny hops aroma with some malt present as well. Light-bodied and clean with hops, fruit and malt flavors all in fairly equal representation. The finish is midlly bitter with a short hops aftertaste. Overall an interesting take on an IPA, but average all around.

12 oz. bottle from Albertson’s in Burien, WA. Pour is clear golden with a one inch white head and some lasting carbonation bubbles. Aroma of dirt and some resin pine hops. Not terribly pronounced. Taste is actually not that great. I had hoped for more, but this tastes pretty much like any IPA you would have at a run of the mill brew pub.

Bomber pours clear gold with bright white head. The aroma smells like white granular sugar and mild citrus hops. It seems to have the standard IPA flavor with citrus hops that run from bitter grapefruit to slightly less bitter tangelo. Also there’s some malty to bland sugary sweetness.

Dark yellow and cloudy body, small, frothy head. Citrus/pine/resin nose with some light maltiness in the background. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderatley bitter. Tastes of grapefruit with hints of orange rind. Medium body and watery texture. Lively carbonation. The finish is lightly acidic. Nice enough, but nothing beyond ordinary.

Aroma is hoppy - I say floral and citrus. Golden amber color with a white head that filmed and left lacey tatters. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Floral, citrusy fruity hop. The malt is hardly in it - but call it light caramel. The finish is so nicely bitter, with floral, fruit, pine and a small hit of citrus. This is way underrated. Trust me. Minor point: can light pine resemble floral/citrus? I’m torn on that. Bottom line: good stuff.
