GBBF. Cloudy brown beer, pale tan head. Dry palate. Intense brown malts with a little chocolate. A little orange hop attempts some balance. Dry finish. Bitterish aftertaste.

Second day at GBBF ’11, cask, 5.8% abv., third-pint at the Vesalius Bar, Belgian & Dutch. Filmy patches at the surface of a body that is dark as coal. Bitter fruits and sweet malty aroma. Fruit-malty taste, rather tart fruits followed by a dry bitter end. A good session drink (London, 03.08.2011).

Cask at GBBF. Murky brown color, tan head. Aroma of cocoa powder and milk chocolate. Taste is very chocolately, a bit gritty, but very decent.
