Moore, Charlton, Stiles and company took us all the way, now will today's heroes match the feat. Let the intensity of the English grown hops and balancing smooth English malt take the strain and like the beer - lets hope for a sweet finish.

Cask at The Retreat, Reading. Amber with a tight cream head; aroma of white pepper; muddles malty taste with some peppery hops; dry finish with some lingering Kentish hops. Presumably my first of an outpouring of Euro 16 themed beers.

Cask gravity at Rare Breeds BF 06. Slight hazy copper, lasting beige head. Bit of apple wood. Not sure if this was ready yet. Malty fruit in mouth. IN mfact malt fruit is quite dominant. Can’t get away from that aroma though.
