Cask at the Bell, Waltham St Lawrence. Pale amber with a loose white head; sweet grainy aroma; full bodied with a bitter sweet barley sugar taste and a dry finish. A satisfying bitter.

Cask, gravity at The Hop Pole (shop), Thursday 10th September 2015. This poured mid gold in colour with a slight white rim of bubbles and a few skittering across the top, excellent clarity. I was informed that this beer was based on Gravitas but with a few tweaks, I have not had Gravitas for a while but I think I could recognise some similarity though the malt profile seemed a little different and the bitterness a little harsher here. Some furry bitterness across the roof of the mouth a little lemony, and with a lingering bitterness. Pretty good. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4
