Bottled. A brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of chocolate, roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops, leading to a bitter finish.

500ml bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Dank, lemon, toast, orange, chocolate. Not a great balance to these taste buds.

(Draught at In De Wildeman, Amsterdam, 29 July 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with dark chocolate, coffee and liquorice. Malty, roasted taste with notes of liquorice, coffee, dark chocolate, a touch of tropical fruit and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced, with a fresh hop character. Nice one.

Tap at Dewildeman, 3rd August 17. Pours black, aroma is limited, hops, chocolate, aromatic lightly. Taste is good and hoppy, chocolate, bitter, nice finish. Good.

Draft at In De Wildeman. Near black with a small tan head. Aroma of light chocolate, malt, dark fruit, caramel and toffee. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with above light carbonation.
