Bottled (from Beers Of Europe). Amber colour, small white head. Aroma and flavour are both fruits, wood, some earth, mild floral notes as well as some slight sappy notes. Pleasant bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 18/11/09. Copper coloured with a slight white head. Aroma of caramel, orange blossoms and grassy hops. Flavour of light, sweetish malts, with some juicy, citrus hops and decent bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Cask at Merton Beer Festival, Oxfordshire, July 7th and 8th 2006. I actually managed to sneak one of these on the Thursday before the Festival opened up and must say I was very impressed with this beer. Poured a mid brown colour and looked and tasted like a good standard British session bitter, an uncomplicated fruity, malty nice bitter beer. Quite a good body and really punching above its weight considering it is only 3.9%. The person I sampled this with said they would have been quite happy to just be drinking this all night despite the presence of the rest of the beers on offer and that I think says something.

Cask handpull at Yew Tree Inn, Barfretone. Chestnut colour with lasting beige head. Beautiful nettle/herb hop aroma with grapefruit. Fullish in mouth with malt underpinning the elegant hops and citrus fruit. Slightly woody too. Excellent session beer. Good hoppy finish with more nettle hops.
