Cask at Southampton Arms. Looks like a scrumpy. Orange with no head whatsoever. Warm as well. Very strange. Very oily and viscous in the mouth, not that pleasant to be honest. Aroma is a bit b.o./cat pee, but sweet at the same time. Taste is very bitter with a boozy sweetness too. Not really convinced by this unfortunately. --- Beer merged from original tick of Seven C's on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 5. Craft Beer Co. Cask handpull. Copper brown colour. Lasting off white head. Smells of ginger. Way too much butterness on finish not enough malt to carry it off. That beer is too bitter too much

Cask at CBC, London. Pours clear, slight red-gold with a flimsy, white foam head. Sharp grass, wood, citrus rind aroma. Medium sweet flavor, fairly well balanced with a big bitter bite, lots of wood, grass, toast, some grapes, fruit juice, light licorice. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly warm finish, dry bitterness, wood, toasty malts, grapefruit. Very nice. I would call this a British DIPA. Really good, and really different from the DIPAs I’m used to.

Cask, gravity, at the Rake, courtesy of sm89walt, thank you sir! Sold as 7 C’s of Rye, so hopefully I have the right beer. Amber color. Aroma of pineapple > citrus > flowers. Taste is very malty with a bitter finish. Interesting.
