A traditional dark ruby red mild. Chocolate, black and dark crystal malts provide colour and flavour.
Was also available at 4% but not the same beer as the session porter of the same name.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - dark brown to black with some orange chinks. Nice head. Nose - caramel, brown bread. Taste - lighter than the nose but similar caramel shortbread notes. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture. The finish kind of falls off a cliff. Overall - ok for the low abv.

Bottle shared at chriso’s May 2014 tasting - London. Pours rich brown with a frothy beige head. Tangy fruits on the nose, some beat leather. Moderately sweet with further leathery fruits, bread, berries. Light bodied with average carbonation. Ripening fruits on the finish. So so.

Gravity pour half-pint at the brewery on 24th May 2014. Full flavoured, good loving Mild: Deep ruby with a creamy head. The brewery was having a small ’Mild Festival’ and this, my second beer, followed the 3.2% ABV Raw Majic Mild and was far superior in all aspects. Almost rich in body depth and feel, it imparted chocolate and coffee notes with a slight vanilla hint also. A traditional Mild worth trying.
