cask at Cock Tavern. It pours lightly hazy deep pissy gold with minimal head. The aroma is earthy, musty, funky, apple pie, barnyard funk, hay and bit of slurry. The taste is drying, bitter, earthy, leather, apple pie, apple skin, musty, funk, hay, tannin, apple pie, touch of acidity and some stewed tea with a drying finish. Medium body low carbonation. Quite decent funky cider. A touch rough in areas perhaps.

Jug at The Harp, London, with Mom. Pours lightly cloudy, vibrant gold with a few bubbles. Musty sweep apple aroma. Very sweet flavor with a slight, salty tang and mild must. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Faintly dry and quite sweet finish. Good apple character. Great stuff, easy drinker.
