500ml bottle - Pours amber with a short lived, frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy malt, caramel, stewed apple, and herbal hop notes. A moderately sweet taste, grainy malt, caramel, and toffee apple flavours with a light bitterness and sweetish finish.

Ever-growing foamy off white head left a frothy mess in a highly carbonated unclear copper coloured body. Malt & bitter aroma. Medium bodied, foamy dry & clean. Malt, berries & caramel tastes with a bitter finish. Like a 1970's Bitter.

Pours clear, amber (caramel amber) , not much head. Scent is ... manure. Peated aspect, wtf? Taste is smoked, peated, manure-like, definately not what I expect in a bitter. Easy drinker, but this doesn't seem right at all.
Edit : I chatted with the bartender (owner) about it, and he said this is actually how the beer is, and indeed it's made with peated malts. Great huray for originality, but I feel like this should at least be made clear by the label... As is, this is really not as expected - and not in a good way to me.

Bottle from Purely Cornish. Appearance - copper with a very slightly off white head. Nose - caramel, cake and a touch of orange peel. Stewed apple lurking. Taste - caramel and fruit cake again. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy texture. Dry thought could be a little drier, finish. Overall - great example of the style, even if could've been a bit more zippy on the finish.

From cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours golden brown with a small off white head. Lovely aroma of biscuit and caramel, like a biscoff cheesecake with added malt. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, sticky texture, soft carbonation. Very tasty.

500ml bottle from Ken Warne grocery store, Darlington. Amber colour, thin off-white foam head and aroma of malt, abit metallic. Flavour is malty, grain, fruity, tangy, yeasty, with some dusty bitterness. Medium bodied, soft to medium bodied, dry tangy earthy bitter finish. OK.
