Sample shared by Grumbo, cheers Graham! Red-brown colour, afew small bubbles on top and aroma of blackberry, gooseberry, honey. Taste is sweet, with honey, blackberry, fruit, and some tart gooseberry. Medium bodied, low carbonation, lingering sweet honey blackberry tartish finish. Nicely drinkable.

14/6/2026. Bottle shared by LazyPyro, cheers Chris! Nice colour pour. Lovely blend of blackcurrant, blackberry and gooseberries which all come through. The initial ribena hit soon disappears, with light gooseberry and real blackcurrant following with some gentle honey sweetness. Lots of stewed blackberry, more so on the taste, honey, light gooseberry tartness, and some crabapple notes. Good body, no carbonation. Long, sweet, fruity, drying finish. Quite complex and very drinkable.

375ml bottle. Clear dark red. Aroma of honey, blackcurrant (Ribena). Taste is sweet, blackcurrant (very Ribena like) comes through the strongest, followed by blackberry, gooseberry relatively subtle but I do get a slight tartness, lovely smooth warming finish. Beautiful melomel.
