Sono Distrutto is a creamy, luscious stout infused with cold-brewed espresso from our favorite local coffee roaster. A perfect blend of Columbian, Guatemalan, and Ethiopian coffee beans, roasted in the northern Italian tradition, provides earthy, nutty flavors and low acidity to perfectly balance the intense roastiness of black and chocolate malts.
The phrase “sono distrutto” is roughly translated from the Italian as “I’m wiped out,” or (assuming our best Austin Powers accent), “I’m spent.” Sure, it’s a mouthful, but we think a good beer ought to be. At only 4.5% alcohol by volume, this Espresso Stout will help perk you up without laying you out.

Bottle shared at the cabin, NH. Right, so this beer was impressively infected. Pours dark brown with a tight, creamy brown head. Dark, lightly tangy nose, some hints of filter coffee. Flavor is...well, the beer’s infected, and the flavor is horrific. Very sour with touches of coffee in the background. Pretty rancid. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Tangy finish with harsh coffee and dirt poking through the sourness. No good.

Pours an opaque, mahogany brown with some creamy white head. Nose of coffee, berries, chocolate, bread, cola. Flavor is a little sour, cherry, coffee, cola, sour mash, malt. Sour, watery finish. Great nose, bad flavor.
