V single hop sérii jsme se tentokrát podívali na profil novozélandské chmelové odrůdy Nectaron ze sklizně 2024. Tento chmel byl na trh oficiálně uveden v roce 2020 po 17 letech šlechtění. Pivo plné šťavnatých ovocných chutí, kde dominují tóny zralé broskve, sladkého ananasu a marakuji, které doplňují citrusové tóny pomeranče, limetky a červeného grepu.

For this edition of our single hop series, we explored the profile of the New Zealand hop variety Nectaron from the 2024 harvest. Officially released in 2020 after 17 years of breeding, this hop brings a beer bursting with juicy fruit flavors. Dominant notes of ripe peach, sweet pineapple, and passionfruit are beautifully complemented by citrus hints of orange, lime, and ruby grapefruit.

Tap at Maly pivo. While the beer itselft does not deviate much from the classic NEIPA formula, it showcases Nectaron's strength as fully autonomous hpps - lots of tropical, citrusy and stone fruit character, complex enough, intense too. Also feels only med-light cereal, not overly sweet, with medium bitterness, med-light sweetness. Easy drinking, tasty, quite good.

Tap at Drinkøteka. Hazy orange body, off-white head. Big onion and light Cedevita candy orange in the aroma. Lean, dry taste, bit juicy. Onion, some clementine juice touches, bit grainy toward the finish. Dunno, okay.
