Panda in the Royal Hotel Newcastle, thanks to Ed Danlo, wee hours of 15/05/2025.
Almost translucent faded yellow with little in the way of a head.
Nose is rather thin, modest honey, herb, light spice.
Taste comprises honey, green peppers, chilli, spice, sugars.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Okay drop ... chilli well evident but not too hot ... pity you fools till you try a Steel City chilli beast!

24/3/2025. Bottle shared by danlo, cheers Ed! Pours clear colourless with a few bubbles. Aroma is flowery, elderflower, honey, chilli. Huge chilli pepper burn on tasting, very firey. Medium sweetness, starts to develop a bit but is mostly suppressed by the heat. Medium body, no carbonation. Hard to enjoy this. Barely drinkable, just about sippable.

500ml bottle from Arcane Alchemist, for end of ratebeer. Pale gold colour, no head and aroma of honey, pepper. Taste is sweet, honey, and then a massive chilli heat hit. Medium bodied, low carbonation, with a hot chilli finish. Nicely drinkable.
