On cask at the Guildford Arms. Appearance - golden amber with a decent head. Nose - a bit restrained. Then malt with a hint of toffee. Taste - toffee and orange. Then more toffee. Some hazelnut. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - would like more biscuits or fruit refreshment at the end.

Bottle 500ml. @ chriso s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011.Unclear medium yellow orange colour with a average, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted - caramel, light to moderate hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Bottle at Chriso’s. Aroma of cat piss, light honey malt, crackers. Deep gold color with lace. Tangy, bready flavor, crackers, lemony dryness, and a dry, earthy finish. OK.

Bottled@The Chriso Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011 "Donkey Dork Lord Edition". Golden colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, some mild floral and nectary notes as well. Flavour is fruits, wood, mild nutty notes as well as some herbs and grass.

Bottle at Chris O’s pre GBBF shindig. Light orange pour with a white head. Citrus and pear nose. Smoky citrus flavour. Odd.

Bottle at ChrisO’s Pre-GBBF Shindig 2011. Pours hazy gold with a foamy, white head. Dusty grain, leaf nose. Lightly sweet flavor, light toast, grain and mild sugar. Light in body with average carbonation. Sweet, mild dry finish, some toast grains. A little bland but not bad.
