Can at home in Hackney - picked up from a local office. Pours clear brown with a foamy, tan head. Lightly sweet with soft roast, ash, mellow cocoa, toasted pine. Light bodied with average carbonation. Nicely balanced finish, more toasted pine, a little citrus, tangerine, earth, ashy roast. Sound.

Can. Black body with a thin beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of toast, coffee grounds and brambles. Flavour of ashy malt and coffee. Thin to medium body with a watery texture. Light fizz. A straightforward, uncomplicated porter.

Part of the toast companion series. Dark brown pour with a small white head. Aromas are faint - coffee, dark choclate and cream. Tastes of coffee, toffee with a bit of a spicy aftertaste. Not bad, but a higher ABV would have carried more flavours.
