Half pint, cask ale at Providence Inn. Bright copper coloured body. Filmy layer, clingy lacing. Mild bread and tobacco nose. Brown malty flavours with a touch of tobacco and herbal hops towards the ending. On the sweet side of bittersweet. Easy going (Plymouth 26.09.2016).

Cask at the New Leathern Bottle, Warfield. Amber with a tight cream head; malty aroma; malt and caramel body with a light twiggy bitterness; and a biscuity finish. A simple ordinary bitter.

Cask @ Doric Arch, London. Clear amber brown with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel and light nutty. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 250316

Cask @ Three Fishes, Shrewsbury in the company of Travlr and Haddock. Pours clear amber with a brilliant white head. Sweet malts, biscuity with a light bitterness.

Cask @ Ship Inn, Looe. Copper with a small head. Easy drinking with sweet malts that are crisp and dominant. Has a berry-sweetness in its nose. A touch thin with its texture.

On cask at the Hope and Anchor, Outer Cove. Appearance - amber with a nicely proportioned head. Nose - toffee and biscuit. Taste - more of the same. Palate - decent balance. Fairly refreshing too. Overall - good session bitter.

Cask at the Cherry Tree, Woodbridge, Suffolk. Poured an attractive copper brown colour into a dimpled mug with a small off white head. Aroma of light malt, hops, caramel, biscuit with fruit notes. Has a light sweetness and bitterness, medium body, average/soft carbonation, with a good level of bitterness to finish. Good session bitter.

Cask @ GBBF 2014. Pours an amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty caramel aroma. Fruity malty caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel bitter hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty caramel hoppy finish.

Pours clear and golden, fairly solid white head which leaves some lacing. Malty aroma with hints of citrus fruits. Quite refreshing in the mouth, smooth, zesty fruit hints, some caramel. Nice.
