Bottle from brewery. Pours a dark amber red colour with minimal beige head. Aroma is spicy hops, bit of cat pee/b.o. Quite full on resin hop smell. Taste is totally different. Not as much bitterness as the smell suggests. Initial prickle and then quite a smooth creamy maltiness with just a hint of spice. Just light bitterness. Quite a nice combination. Wouldn't say it is very Belgian though, but pretty nice. Maybe a touch of funkiness in there. One of my favourite Kernels so far.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours a murky, opaque greenish(!) with a huge and lacing off-white head with brownish yeast sediments IN the head. Comes a massive gusher. Heavy citrusy hop aroma. Light body, full of chewy odd spices, like floating pot in my beer! Very spicy and peppery - really burning. And a massive bitterness in the finish. What an odd creation! I got first pour but seem to have gotten all the sediment - containing hops. 200312

Bottled. An unclear reddish beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of yeast, citrusy hops?, malt, and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of yeast, citrusy hops, bread, and a bit of malt, leading to a bitter finish. Odd - try again.

Bottle from the bottle shop canterbury. Deep hazy red big beige head. Aroma of hops and red fruits. That’s a tasty beer. Like Ken says really sessionable. I like the dryness I like the full red fruits. Not heavy esters. Just a drinkable red ale with some hints towards other places. Aroma of an apa and fruits of a flemish brown although no noticeable sourness. Dryness of an english pale ale in the finish. Good beer. Interesting. Makes you think.
