Bottle at le pub st Alexandre. Pours a very dark orange amber with almost no head. Aroma of tequila!? Sweetner and vinegar. The flavor is very sweet and reminds me of an overly sweet cheap tequila cocktail. Ok this awful and fro
having beers from this brewery before I’ll assume this is not the best example of the style.

Tap at Leids Bierfestival, Leiden: Clear brown colored brew with a mostly sugary sweet taste and in the back some Lambic sour.Quite like this style with the well balanced use of sugar.

Unusual aroma, some sugar, dust, rather vinous, hints of vinegar. Very sweet and sugary with a bit of fruity sourness to compensate. Grape sugar, cherry, a bit sticky, of course, but certainly drinkable and better as expected.

On tap at Beerstro, Lille, France. Copper colour, small diminishing off-white head. Very fruity, slightly sugary, slightly perfumy. Cider-like acidity, with a cheesy touch, ripe apple, sugary juice. Not a bad drink but slightly fake. Sour candy finish. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Actually liked it, although the style is weirdly executes.

Bottle at the Kulminator, 07/12/18. BBE 2009. Clear golden copper with a moderate off white covering. Nose is damp sack, grains, light sweat, dusty, light citric notes. Taste comprises bittersweet lemon juice, cough syrup, dusty fruits, big dollop of residual sugars, grains, wood must. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter sweet but more sweetened finale . Sippable but never a great me thinks!

26/X/18 - 25cl bottle @ home, BB: XI/2009 - (2018-1604)
Clear red brown beer, no head, just a few bubbles on the rim of the glass. Aroma: butter, diacetyl, pretty oxidized, some caramel, yoghurt, bit sugary. MF: soft carbon, medium to light body. Taste: sweet sugary start, but also pretty acidic, lots of lemon juice, caramel, pretty oxidized, still pretty darn drinkable! Aftertaste: acidic, lemon flavoured candy, some caramel, probably the best commercial bottled faro I've tried.
