Bitterfelder Bernstein, Flasche von Edeka, Pouch. - Schönes Kupfergoldbraun, blank. - In der Nase recht kerniges Wiener Malz, etwas Butter, krautige Hopfenherbe, leicht ruppige Noten von Hopfenextrakt. - Antrunk gerstig-toastmalzig mit feiner Karamelsüße, gut abgeschmeckter zarter Säure, etwas Trockenaprikose und kräftiger, leider recht ruppiger krautiger Hopfenherbe. Durchschnittlich rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang derbe Bittere, Hopfenextrakt und etwas Blech. - Kerniges aber ruppiges Wiener Lager. Paßt zu Bitterfeld wie die Faust aufs Auge. Immerhin ein Bier mit Charakter. (25.5.2021.)

* Old Rating. 0,75l swing-top-bottle, best before 24.07.11. Mild-fruchtiger Antrunk, würzig-malzig. Interessant dunkel bleibend, würzig-mild. Weich aber nicht zu tief. Malziger, leicht herber Nachgeschmack.

0,5 l longneck bottle, 26.June 2013. A light and watery looking amber in the glass. Light tanned fingerthick head. Sweet malty and fir on the nose. Starts in front sweet malty and nuts, on the back tongue light bitter. How did they do that? Gets stronger in the course. Very tough for a Lager. I like it! Thanks to kappldav123 for the bottle!
