A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of mid sweet grainy malt, straw, some cereals. Taste of spicy bitter hops, pale malt, straw and grains.

Auf der A 9 von Berlin ins fränkische Bierparadies zigmal an Bitterfeld vorbeigebrettert und nicht daran gedacht, daß es auch dort eine Brauerei gibt ... - Bitterfelder Bier - Premium-Pils, Flasche von Kaufland, Bitterfeld. - Dunkel goldgelb, blank. - In der Nase schematisch zitronige Hopfenherbe, etwas Stroh. - Antrunk gerstig hellmalzig mit Karamel-Touch, gefolgt von derber, leicht ranziger krautiger Herbe. Milder rezent, blaß mineralisch, angenehm süffig dank schöner gerstiger Härte. Im Abgang ausreichende, mild zitrusfruchtige Bittere. Ranziger Nachtrunk. - Nicht sehr ambitioniertes Industriebier, auch nicht ganz pilstypisch, dennoch süffig und für Alltagszwecke völlig ausreichend. Was ein trostloses Kaff wie Bitterfeld eben so hervorbringt ... (12.1.2020.)

* Old Rating. 0,75l swing-top-bottle, best before 18.07.11. Würzig-getreidiger Antrunk. Nicht sonderlich tief, sehr süffig. Leichte Malztöne, nette Würze, kaum charaktervolle Herbe.

Trocken herber Antrunk, hele milde Malzigkeit. Das Bier bleibt leider trocken und wenig intensiv, weder wirklich hopfig noch sonst irgendwie würzig. 7/7/7/7/8/7

25. June 2013, 0,5 l Longneck bottle. A gold Pils in the glass, large poring head. Spicy grass in the nose. Export? No, even more a pilstypical hop herb, naturally no friesian level, but very drinkable. Long lasting spicy, a little bit dry and hop herb on the backtongue. Despite the word Premium on the label no bad Pils! Thanks to kappldav123 for the bottle.

Draught at BBF12. Mild malty aroma. Clear golden colour. Good malty flavour. Mildly hopped, clean and refreshing.

Aroma is yeast, bread and hops. The flavor is grains/bread, citrus hops and a complex, dry finish.

75cl bottle at Berlin beer fest. Clear golden with a frothy head. Aroma and taste of floral, herb hop. Finish is dry bitter tempered by light sweetness.

Bottle 750ml. w. swing top.Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, butter, light hoppy, hay - grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, buttery, grass - hay, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Mouthfeel is a bit odd - thin but creamy almost buttery ... [20110720]

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of fonefan. Clear yellow with a white head. Nose is malty, herbal and buttery. Medium body, fairly sweet malts, a little metallic with a good and dry hop finish. 200711
