Super hazy orange and bronze coloured body with a rather large three to four centimetre tall thick tan head. Aroma of deep citrus fruits with some more earthy and perfumey scents as well, but the resin and alcohol show strongly as well in the nose. Full-bodied; Super syrupy and deep mouthful at first with a lot of resin and pure sweetness from some fruits and caster sugar with honey showing through as well, but the yeast and alcohol of course is noticeable and some light hop notes that don't really show much bitterness, but some pine. Aftertaste is deep and pungent throughout, with the alcohol, herbal and grassy bitterness from the hops, but the syrupy sweet notes from honey and resin are the strongest. Overall, a very pungent beer that does show the ten per cent alcohol, and the sugars help out, but the malt body and sticky sweetness make this pungent. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, given to me by the GM at the brewery after a hockey game in June 2019, in Arlington, Virginia - Thanks Erik!

On tap at the brewery, pours a darker gold, ring of white head, light legs. Big orange nose, schnapps, melon, fresh grapefruit too. Flavor has the orange, melon, but the booze is a bit overpowering. Finishes full bodied and sticky. 7 3 6 3 12

Draft at Bluejacket. Pours a vibrant orange color with a small, wispy white head. Aroma was nice hop bitterness with a bit of booze. Flavor was a lot more smooth, pine, super juicy. Hop bitterness. Nice.
