Bottle, supermarket purchase. From old notes. Poured clear dark golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma of malt, citrus, grass, flowers. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Average carbonation. Quite okay.

Cask at the Turk's Head, St Margarets, Summer 2011. Passable cask golde ... lacked a bit of depth considering it's a 5% job but fine on a hote summers day.

Rating this one for the past. Poured a hazyish golden color, topped with a solid and lasting white head. Mild malty aroma, some herbal/grassy notes easily picked up. Taste was mild, some grassy/herbal feel to it with a mild bitterness in the finish. It wasn’t a bad one, though nothing too great either.

Bottle 0.5l from Alko Arkadia, Helsinki. Colour is golden with large white head. Aromas and flavours are fruits, hops and citrus. Very dissapointing.

04/05 0.5 l can Ogi brought from Ljubljana, thanks for sharing! It poured slightly hazy golden body with small head. Weaker, slightly sweet biscuit and fruity aroma. Flavor added bitterness, somewhat lemony hops were mixed up with much intensive honey or fruity malt. A bit thin in body, quite watery I would say. Finish was dominated more by dryer hopiness, which was probably the best thing about this beer. Decent, drinkable, but utterly boring and unimpressive. Rating over 3? No chance for anyone objective I believe!

Rating No.4400
Bottled 500ml. -from Pivoljub, Ljubljana. Cloudy golden coloured, medium sized airy white head, mild peachy nose. Malty and discreet hoppy with notes of fruits and hint of honey. rather dry finish. Not the best milestone beer.

Another one of Ogi’s. Misty golden body with a small white head. Malty nose with notes of rotten fruit, some acidity. Empty, generic malty taste, maybe slightly fruity. Dry finish. Couldn’t be more underwhelming than it is.

Bottled 500ml (Arkadia, BB 03/2013)
Clear deep golden color, small white head. Light citrus, some fruityness in the nose, also a bit yeasty. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Some fruits, light caramel and citrus in the flavor. Weak palate. Nothing wrong with this, but it is just totally uninteresting.

This 500ml bottle conditioned golden ale was poured (Jan 2012) into my Abbot Ale glass tankard carefully so as not to disturb the sediment, so I got a truely golden beer with a huge white crown of bubles on top. The beer is clearly well carbonated because it never stopped releasing bubbles that climbed up from the base of my glass to the roof. The aroma is a mix of yeasts and citruy hops with hints of bicuity malts in there somewhere too. The taste is fairly dry, citrusy, grapefruits, but not sour. The malt content seems to hide away somewhat although the beer isn’t unbalanced. This is a refreshing golden ale and so, so easy to drink.
