Pretty enjoyable, pretty punchy, notes of berries, lightly toasted malts, low bitterness. Soft earthy-leafy hop, grape, a little golden raisins, maybe rum. Warming finish. Rather drinkable but a small pour is sufficient.

On tap at The Rake, Borough Market. Nice nose of honey, vanilla, orange marmalade, light bourbon. Taste is honey, vanilla, caramel, pineapple, oak, nice hit of bourbon coming through in the back end. Rich boozy sweet finish. Top notch.

More like a barley wine really. I don't know what they did here, but certainly doesn't taste like a marzen. Pours hazy dark orange colour. Finishes tangy. Tap at Snally.

Snallygaster 2022. Snallygaster 2022. Poured a dark orange color with a large off-white head. Big fest beer flavor, actually quite nice. Pleasant Woody notes. Actually kind of liked this one at lot, if it was more in the 8% than 12%.

On tap @ SN Mills River. August '21. Short glass. Clear iced tea color, light lace. Caramel & bourbon candy nose. Vanilla, bourbon essence, mildly sweet with low burn. Toasty, Wherthers Original malts, obvious caramel, sharp acidity for a second, sweet bourbon icing on the finish. Always decent SN carbonation, pretty thin. Curiously mild for 12%. Good.
