Cask at the Devonshire Arms, Cambridge. Light straw coloured pour with a white glass hugging head. Slightly floral aroma, leading to a nice smooth bitter flavour. The palate is weak. A nice ale, but could do with some work to make it special.

Cask at the Pembury tavern on 30th June 2010. Almost clear gold with thin part-lacing white head. A fine blend of hops with notes of grass, citrus and just a slight savoury twist. Textured, slightly saline mouthfeel. Very refreshing in the current hot weather!

(Cask at Pembury Tavern, Hackney, London, 20 Nov 2008) Golden yellow colour with brief, white head. Malty, slightly fruity nose with notes of biscuity malt, canned peaches and fresh hops. Malty, fruity taste with biscuits, peaches and stewed fruit. Balanced sweetness, fresh bitterness in the finish. On the thin side but refreshing. In short: canned peaches with fruity hops.
