This Blonde ale began with a short lactic fermentation in the kettle before its journey to wine barrels. It was aged on a generous amount of peaches with cinnamon bark, vanilla beans and a touch of Brettonamyces. Nature’s candy in your hand, or beer, or pie.

Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a cloudy copper, with a large white head. Aroma is freshly cut peach flesh, fruity cereals, and some light grass. Mouth feel is full, carb is quite soft. Low bitterness, fruit forward, slightly tart, light cereals.

Cloudy golden. Taste solid Bretty sour, with some aserbic. Peach is waaaay in the back with a hay malts.

Pours a hazy golden-amber colour with an off-white frothy head, decent stay and some foamy lacing. Spices in the nose over earthy tones and hints of fruitiness. The taste shows more the sourness that lasts a while on the tongue. The peach does get lost in all of it, but might come back in the finish with tart lingering. A nice wild ale. Just wish the peaches were stronger, and for the rest as well (like the spices).
