This was the only "unique" beer to be had from the NB brewery on my first, and probably last, visit. Everything else was thier LCBO brands. The beer itself with its charity fundraising purpose doesn’t try to be fancy. This is a self-described light beer, no session labeling here. The beer pours a clear golden, with a white head. Malty hay nose with some syrup sweetness. The beer is straightforward. Hay malt taste with mild sweetness. No discernable hops. It’s just a meh beer. Good for NB for supporting its community, but surprised they didn’t try to impress all those new customers.
