A new one chalked in on the board at Indie, wasn’t there on Thursday. On cask for me, who knows how it’ll present itself in the future. Putting this one up before my compatriot Freaky_tiki says something about wood flavoured water. Brown and cloudy, ah hell, it murky, with a thick soapy looking head running about a finger and half. Lots of toasted roasty malt in the nose with a little dust. The taste lots of malt toasted, mildly berried, and dusty. Low carbonation, which is what you’d expect for cask. Not bad. It’s got a couple of "hurtles" to jump versus a regular, being a low alcohol and cask, But I thought it did well, not to watery and enough fizz to do the job. Not too bad. And now a word from my friend Freaky-tiki...
